Mahesh is totally not new for Kollywood lovers as his films were dubbed into Tamil previously and many of his blockbusters were remade by Tamil superstars.
Murugadoss’s film will launch Mahesh directly in Tamil as this is a pure bilingual film which will be shot separately for Tamil and Telugu.
Sources said that supporting cast and writers team is different for both the versions. Shooting of this film with not much fanfare, but soon there would be a grand event in Chennai to create hype for the Tamil version. It is an action thriller made on a very high budget.
Rakul Preeth Singh is playing the female lead and Harris Jairaj scores the music for it. It will also be dubbed into Hindi as Murugadoss is a big brand in Bollywood.
Murugadoss is planning to complete the shooting by next February and release it in summer 2017.
